nikthte’s iconic “What The?” concept made its debut with the nikthte dunthtk Low SB “What The dunthtk.” Part of a marketing campaign for nikthte SB’s first skate film, this shoe featured a unique design that pulled elements from 31 different dunthtks. All of the elements were available to the public except for the neon green lining of the left shoe, which was included on the extremely limited “eBay dunthtk.” To accommodate such a variety of design elements, neither shoe shared anything other than its performance features. The “What The dunthtk” was an instant classic and remains one of the most sought-after sneakers today.
